Richard has been an active musician since 1995, working in a diverse range of styles from classical to theatre, rock and jazz.  His musical work includes performing Duke Ellington suites with saxophonist Tommy Smith and the ‘Voice of the North’ jazz orchestra, and as a band member performing in the TV production of Catherine Cookson's ‘The Round Tower’.

Grooveline can play as an all live 5 (vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass guitar and drums), 6 (added saxophone) or 7 (added trumpet) - piece band. Top quality performances require top quality musicians - Grooveline band members are experienced professional musicians. Grooveline has a dedicated sound engineer who will ensure optimum sound reproduction for your venue throughout the performances and that statutory safety requirements are met. Stage and effect lighting are included in the price you are quoted. The booking and specification stages are important too - Grooveline’s mission is to make your occasion very special, which means finding out what you want and making sure it happens on the day.
