Grooveline Band Manager and Sound Engineer - Kevin
Kevin has been active in the music industry since school days. Initially this was as a performer, playing lead guitar for the popular local indie band "Esque" which included a gig on the main stage at the Edinburgh Festival, but more recently, his role has been as a gig promoter and sound engineer.
Kevin has an HND in Music Production from Newcastle College and whilst studying, he promoted and organised performances at a host of local venues, including Foundation.
He now works as a freelance producer and engineer using his own PA equipment and is a keen promoter of live sound in and around Tyneside for bands, functions and youth orchestras. Kevin also has his own recording company called "TyneWave" offering a one-stop recording package for bands and community projects, such as Millennium Volunteers and Wansbeck Community Youth Band.
Kevin has worked as a sound engineer for numerous bands with Charlotte Jones. One of the performances even involved a shared stage with "Girls Aloud"! Kevin manages the Grooveline band and Grooveline Entertainment alongside Charlotte Jones.
